| A Trilectron mains power driven Point of Use Aircraft Air conditioner mounted on U S Airways Aerobridges at Boston Airport USA graphically illustrates the how tidily the POU unit can be positioned. This negates the need and cost of running the Aircraft Auxiliary Power Unit [APU] when at the bridge. This concept when used in concert with mains supplied 400 Hz [FCX] converter also eliminates the noise pollution on the ramp caused by the APU or a Diesel driven GPU, making the ramp a lot safer place to work. |

The FCX equipment is attached at "Point of Use" to the new airbridges at the new Adelaide International Airport terminal. In the picture showing gate 16 the airconditioner is clearly visible under the bridge and one 180 KVA dual outlet 400 Hz converter is installed under the Bridgehead. |
